Owen Critchley, when in his teens, sang in a soul club on Fridays as well as 2 nights at pubs doing acoustic versions of Zeppelin, Marley, Paul Simon and Prince. At 21 he moved to Canada to write and record his own songs. His favorite description of his songs is: "Owen's songs are like reading someone else's letters.
