When I was in my teens, I sang in a soul club on Fridays as well as 2 nights at pubs doing acoustic versions of Zeppelin, Marley, Paul Simon and Prince. At 21, I moved to Canada to write and record my own songs. My favourite description I've seen of my songs is: "Owen's songs are like reading someone else's letters. It can get personal, but it's hard to look away."
